So simply throwing in morphology would simply mess out everything, sure. But it's certainly not helping our way out into having the big picture of Monocots natural history.<BR/><BR/>Molecular phylogenies are corroborated by some synapomorphies too. The thing is that some morphological characteristics that were earlier thought of as synapomorphies simply aren't so.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
