  1. My first thought was that its a beetle, then I noticed it had a little remnant veination at the tips of its elytra. Also it has large cerci. So I'm pretty sure is a umenocoleid roach, very probably Ponopterix axelrodi from the Crato Formation (or is it Santana Formation? - I'm not sure). Once again a big hat tip to Grimaldi and Engel (one of the best natural history books EVER) which can make a dumbass vertebrate palaeontologist seem like an expert entomologist.
